How it all started

With many decades in the fashion industry, executives from finance, design, IT, logistics and store management all had the same idea – Certified Preowned. After a quick scan of the current state of the industry and the need for sustainability they also realized that the idea of building the infrastructure that would allow a fashion brand to offer this idea of Certified Preowned was the future.

After looking at the research on sustainable fashion by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and others, along with a White Label E-commerce platform they had built for the ReSale industry, ReCircled was born.

Building the Factory of the Future

Today, with locations in Cozad, Nebraska and Prato, Italy, ReCircled has begun to build the Factory of the Future for Fashion. Taking the approach of sustainability and being part of the circular economy ReCircled is taking a two-pronged approach with these factories. Not only are they building new buildings, using the latest in renewable energy, ReCircled is also reclaiming existing buildings and retro fitting to make them completely sustainable.
